We get it, he's simple minded but why does everything out of her mouth have to be about how "clueless" the MC is . Especially, when the MC is being quite reasonable about some things.

This Manhwa should have started with the girl's background. And MC's introduction should have been right when he caught her. By then we would have had a sense of her strength and understood where it ranks in the world. Which then would have given us a better reaction to MC's abnormal strength.

I can't tell how strong any thing is because the author hasn't established a base.

Could have used an establishing shot of where the MC was before he jumped into a void to catch the girl.
