I have to say, I really hate this whole charade. This slow-burner hunger-games "throw em to be tribute" sort of shtick is a pain in the ass. A socially accepted cauldron that burns up a person or two every decade, and it springs out of nowhere as if it never existed? Even if it's not well known...

The only consistent thing about this author, is that he's willing to create an entire arc that's completely off-kilter and wastes everyone's time. So this arc might STILL be all a dream, just because the author is totally losing it.

Yeah, I'm not buying it. The author wasn't willing to let fictional creatures "die", but he'll go with such an immense bummer plot twist? There's simply no way.

So...This is a story, about a game, which exclusively markets itself to people who love dolls, and the 1st encounter the MC has in the game, is with a guy who says: "who gives a fuck about dolls"? Well, this was a fast drop.
