It's unbelievable enough when it's isekai into game-like world, but are we really supposed to believe that actual gamers wouldn't be constantly grinding all skills and would instead pay out the ass to let someone else do it?

It's a pretty interesting take if it continues like this. Where demons really are just evil, or if nothing else, utterly amoral and alien to the point that humans are incomprehensible vermin to them. Normally this is the point where someone in the MC's party learns that maybe they're not so bad...
Exactly what I was thinking about Harou, I was really hoping for him to be back to normal or at least close to it, why the hell did they bother with his whole backstory if they were just going to keep him as a giant fatass?

I like how they take ol grampy out on assassination missions, get him some fresh air and stimulation, maybe a little bit of stabbing if his blood pressure is ok that day
It's pretty surprising just how likable most of the characters are, plus how fleshed out into sorta-normal people they are, even breaking up into friend groups. Was not expecting that when I started this manga but it's great.
