Sneewittchen - Geschichten nach Grimm - Vol. 1 Ch. 7 - Herr Korbes

This fairy tale didn't need an additional twist or what not in order to be weird.

@sleepyknight That's what I haven been thinking too since the previous chapter. But you actually managed to find some solid arguments.

Didn't know that Igarashi was capable of humor. Glad to be corrected about that.

BE BLUES ~Ao ni Nare~ - Vol. 17 Ch. 162 - Get Past the Press

@es_kan @Renan_Walheim The color blue isn't related to football but to 'a feeling of youth', if I understand correctly. For example, you have other manga series with titles like gunjo (ultramarine blue), gunjo ni siren, blue giant, blue flames, blue orchestra etc. This is elaborated upon in...

@Instaburst That's him indeed. Both series were serialized in the same magazine for some time, and the creators are familiar with oneanother.

Why is the long strip format so much more popular in Korea?

If I had to guess, I suppose the comic industry in Korea wasn't as established when webcomics started to take off. In the USA, most of Western Europe and Japan the issue/volume/magazine format is still somewhat the norm. A fair amount of webcomics is still based upon this format (though not many...

    Neko Mix Genkitan Toraji

I'm only on chapter 6, but this quirky kind of story is already drawing me in. Seems bizarre and relatable and the same time.

    BE BLUES ~Ao ni Nare~

@joddy701 Ao Aoshi is the most similar manga I can think of. The manga baby steps (https://mangadex.org/title/42/baby-steps) is somewhat alike, in the sense that both have a goal-driven protagonist with an analytic mindset. Then again, Ryuu is a stoic cool guy, whereas Eichirou is a huge dork.

    MangaDex Two Year Anniversary

Compared to the huge amount of volumes I read per month, $90 is a low price I'm willing to pay for. I'm for server donating all the way.

    Arborist - Oneshot

@GodGinrai By skimming through the authors page on mangaupdates, I suppose the message at the end is referring to this serialization : https://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=110704. (since it started in 2014) Not much info on it, but it seems to have a different premise.

    Tonari No Scanlation

If you wouldn't mind, I have a question about the translation of 'Shudan!'. As in, I don't find anywhere on the net what the title actually means. Still a great manga though.
