According to the mangaka's commentary on the anime, he was planning on ending this manga in two to three volumes while never leaving the club room. So yeah it'd have been a dead end manga if he followed the original plan. I kinda would be worried how they'd have done Marina in one volume given...

Probably got one of the biggest clarifications for the original premise of the manga thus far in the episode commentary from the mangaka. The series was originally gonna be three volumes of low budget ecchi romcom cosplay in the clubroom. But by the time the first Mikari chapters were wrapping...

The chapter is based on one of the more modern Japanese horror ritual game “Hide and Seek Alone”. The series has been going peak to peak, but in definitely curious about how the anime will adapt the Nagomi arc, because that’s where all the promotion has been.
