Aquila is getting mad at the father about Lamia being in danger, like he doesn't care about his daughter. If I'm not mistaken, isn't Aquila the one who caused chaos in the Orphe family and the reason why Lamia chooses to become a knight?

@LonelyBye I’m always thinking the exact same thing in series where a mother, or parents, travels back in time😂. But it’s fiction with time travel, so I guess there’s room for suspension of disbelief.😅
It’s pretty amazing how all of us readers have many of the same complaints about the story. Unlikable characters, Slow and confusing plot, unclear motivations, so many bizarre tangents that make no sense. We’re reading basically because we were interested in the premise and maybe the hope that...
I had an inkling she was pretending, but she was convincing enough that I wanted to believe her. And isn’t that what good yandere is all about, they seduce you into forgetting they be crazy. 😂
@practicallyuseful I feel exactly the same way. The initial concept drew me in and I enjoyed it when Kang was prickly at the beginning. But once the story depicts him as obsessed with Irae and unable to see anything outside of her, the whole thing started feeling boring.🥱

She knew he’d survive back then since it was part of the story. But now it’s unknown, she’s scared he could die. I like this development as I felt she was a little too relaxed the first time he went to war. Also I welcome the extra drama lol.
I'm glad he stopped her. This felt really uncomfortable to read and it felt wrong. I might be mistaken, but I feel that was the author's intention with what the father told Hanazono earlier and the chapters leading up to this.
