@Salfaro Yeah they edited it. Originally it said fertilized egg which made it even weirder.

Am I misreading that? Do they mean unfertilized? Is it fertile but not fertilized? Are lizard people one of those species that lay eggs then fertilize them later? Or did she basically feed him her unborn child. Perhaps for lizard people that's normal.

The author clearly understands abusive relationships and the way that abusers will act nice and use guilt, to keep a hold on their victims this was a powerful chapter. I really hope nothing bad happens to our girls but I can't believe that it's going to be smooth sailing from here.
