Kinoshita's pretty underrated. As far as named characters go, she's easily one of the least important, but it's sad seeing her situation and how lonely she seems after three years. Saeki really should have been more considerate of her.

Reading this again after finishing it a bit ago. It's funny to me that his super cheesy proposal worked, because Aya being such a closeted bookworm means that she'd actually be more likely to appreciate it than most others. If she was, say, Saeki, it might have come across as too weird.
