Yes there's a pattern, but this series is still a lot of fun. Don't take it so seriously, and you'll have a good time. Personally, it's the one that introduced me to the manhua/cultivation genre altogether, back when Allen was still translating 8 chapters a day; Good times!

Still wondering why Meraki is wasting their time on this garbage. No one can argue the original story's importance in the Wuxia genre....but this manhua adaptation is just plain lousy.

Mangatoon probably has the worst official translation out there. The shit makes google translate sound like poetic bliss. I don't know what the fuck it is with these licensed apps and shit quality, but it's pretty infuriating as a reader. I'll give "webcomics" a try and hope for the best...
