gotta admit, I'm mildly surprised he didn't just insist they come with him and get himself a new life in an isekai story, though after the fact he stayed came out, it surprised me not at all that he became a literal demon lord

so, the main thing I got from this chapter was that the MC's talent sucks so badly that a true chosen hero would only need a couple decades of intense training to catch up with the product of half a millennia of MC's training, that's actually really poor talent for a MC

so my guess is: blue'll be destroyed by the last effort retaliation of his master, then MC gonna be a semi-dumb-f*** and let the little lady take the better body then he'll get thrown out, but, because he ended up showing the outward tendency of a "pure soul" they were looking for, he'll end up...

what is it with the isekai sub-genre of transferring to a story book world where the MC wants to only ever so slightly tweak the ending instead of just completely rewriting the story? if it was me, if I had a good role, I'd just live out the story as best I can remember, and if I had a bad role...
