Where the hell is Ai-chan's office worker friend? It's been years since he's been a character. I was much more invested in seeing their relationship develop, like in the Twitter strips.

That's a hell of a generalization--one that you can't possibly prove. Any author from any country is equally capable of falling into seasonal rot if the story goes on long enough: just look at American television and how many good shows went bad or simply mediocre.

Hell, every PANEL has at least one sweat bead. You could count on your fingers and toes the number of panels where someone isn't sweating nervously or awkwardly.

For a supposed "Erotica" series, this is a damn slow burn. I haven't even gotten to anything remotely "erotic," and I just finished the first volume. I appreciate the world-building to an extent, but this is getting ridiculous.

Oh good, more reason to hate Ren's character. She is straight-up abusive and psychologically manipulative.

That's the thing: 99 chapters in, I would have expected her to be humbled by at least somebody in some way, but not only has she not, no one has even come close to challenging her. I don't care if that kind of character is popular with some people, it's simply bad writing. It has me wondering...
