This took a weird left turn for me. This has always been a very light, comedic manga so for it to suddenly and dramatically try to bring in real life issues was weird. Think I’m going to drop this one until it completes or gets past this weird arc.

I feel like at first the slowness was intriguing, but chapter after chapter almost nothing happens and it’s just become annoying.

Well, obviously, realistically speaking a marriage in that time period would have been consummated likely on their wedding night. Knowing the deposition of past Chloe, I imagine it was awkward.
