You know, the way the MC asked “but what’s this plot armor stuff?” makes me think he’s completely unaware of such writing tropes, which contributed to his own poor writing in his previous life. :p

@icarushector maybe he’s not the world’s best thief yet. Maybe his skills have been temporarily hampered (such as from an injury). Maybe he has a preferred target (i.e., corrupt officials), but has yet to find an appropriate mark. Hopefully they’ll explain sooner or later.

Yeah... still don’t really like Evan, but hey, if his redemption arc leads to that “Saintess’s” downfall, I’m all for that. Let’s wait and see what sorts of dirt he ends up digging up about that “Saintess”. Let him learn the hard way the true value of concrete evidence. :p
