Please don't do this. Nobody in any english speaking country would ever say this, ever. It sounds bizarre. It makes more sense to dump the honorifics all together or else to keep the japanese (which is actually what an english speaker would do - the whole language is a mashup of borrowed terms)

He's close to a 10/10 on the cherry-boy MC trope scale. It's pretty painful.

It makes the story super generic. Less generic would be if there was a full page "THE END" afterwards. You know we're going to get some hand-wringing drama followed by a standard shounen manga redemption and a 1980's-sitcom hug at the end. Barf.

I think some of the best comedy happens when nobody is the "good guy." The closest one is probably Hanano, and even she is chaotic. You don't have to root for anybody, just chuckle at the madness. Whether you liked the show or not, Seinfeld had a rule that really worked for that kind of humor...
