Ore to Kimitachi no Dungeon Sensou - Ch. 5

Here's hoping that in the next "layer", the MC's role as a rogue/summoner will be more robust. They ended up down a path that only allowed the girl to shine, and the MC had jackshit to do all that time. I.E: Here's hoping the author had the brains to not allow "crush everything" to be the best...

Katainaka no Ossan, Kensei ni Naru ~Tada no Inaka no Kenjutsu Shihan Datta noni, Taisei shita Deshi-tachi ga Ore wo Hottekurenai Ken~ - Vol. 6 Ch. 27…

Say no to flashback arcs! Especially durinf battle, ffs. This ain't late 2000s anime fodder.

Tale of a Scribe Who Retires to the Countryside

Well, here it is, bois. It's a nice read, albeit a bit meandering. Definitely one of the top wuxia-esque comics afloat as there is very little to no "you dare??" or haughty young masters, left and right. The characters are endearing and fun, but I also dislike the fact that after the scribe...

Tale of a Scribe Who Retires to the Countryside - Vol. 2 Ch. 156 - The Difference in Age

Finally caught up, I always read this series on and off on random websites, it's nice to have it all here. I feel like this comic should find its way to conclude in a few arcs, it started with a banger concept, and then stretched itself thin with turning an intellectual nobody into an avatar of...

Tale of a Scribe Who Retires to the Countryside - Vol. 2 Ch. 144 - Secrets of the Four Heavenly Saints

I believe this chapter deserves some comments? It's about time the romantic tension between them burst, albeit I feel like it was a bit forced. The author really did just pad out the story with romantic interests left and right, and now the OG love interest got her leg in. I feel like the whole...

Tale of a Scribe Who Retires to the Countryside - Vol. 2 Ch. 143 - Deception

Antagonizing walking nukes is pretty peak arrogance, even for an emperor. At best, it should be a multi-decade plan where they slowly weaken murim, and add those forces to their own.

Tale of a Scribe Who Retires to the Countryside - Vol. 2 Ch. 197

Now that I think about it, it's pretty weird that Noh-goon knows so much about the world, when he lived on a mountain for 40 or so years.

Yamiochi Yuusha no Haishin Haishin ~Tsuihousare, Kakushi Boss Beya ni Hourikomareta Kekka, Boss to Tansakushagari Haishin wo Hajimeru~

Funny, that's exactly what ran through my mind when I wrote that. I couldn't believe the author shoved in DOTA into their work, it was so ridiculous, that it was the first time I felt like such a low-effort story managed to jump the shark.

Tale of a Scribe Who Retires to the Countryside - Vol. 2 Ch. 122 - Overthrowing the World Order

Didn't she go through the pain of leaving her family behind, so she could do bigger, greater things? Why is she happy to just go back and change nothing? Thst arc was pretty pointless..

Meikyuu Metro - Mezametara Saikyoushoku Datta node Shima Risu o Tsurete Shinsekai o Aruku - Vol. 4 Ch. 30 - Scene 30

You don't seem to understand. I don't find it weird that they "get stronger from eating the spores", but that it's culturally accepted to call it "level ups" and "jobs", i.e: gamified lingo is culturally acceptable by everyone? What, their scientists and leaders are all chuuni dorks? Why bother...

Tale of a Scribe Who Retires to the Countryside - Vol. 2 Ch. 180

Bloody melodrama, this turned into a harem comic. Soon enough, even medical-god will fall in love with the MC.

Meikyuu Metro - Mezametara Saikyoushoku Datta node Shima Risu o Tsurete Shinsekai o Aruku - Vol. 4 Ch. 30 - Scene 30

I find it really weird that the author thought of a quasi-scientific way of quantifying people's abilities and innate strength, but all of that scientific elaboration was just used to say shove in video game lingo: "It tests your levels! You level up! You have a Job!" Yeah, it's easy to...

Chounin A wa Akuyaku Reijou wo Doushitemo Sukuitai ~Dobu to Sora to Kouri no Hime-kun~ - Vol. 7 Ch. 33 - Summons

@saebascans It's okay to write "raped", you don't need to censor yourself. This isn't ticktock or whatever.

Tale of a Scribe Who Retires to the Countryside - Vol. 2 Ch. 110 - The Name of Jade

Kinda lost as to why this guy obsesses over the MC as well? Feels like being the jade dragon is a pack deal with being coocoo.

Tsuihou Sareta Ossan Kajishi, Nazeka Densetsu no Daimyouko ni Naru ~Mukashi Omocha no Buki o Tsukutteageta Kodomotachi ga Zenin Eiyuu ni Natteita~

Braindead MTL, probably. Like, seriously, even if you're doing it on auto-pilot-mode, that at least should make you feel like "this doesn't make any fucking sense..." That being said, this manga is so braindead, practically frothing with tropes with every given turn, that it's a wonder it even...

Ore to Kimitachi no Dungeon Sensou - Ch. 4

Aren't they sent by random or something? If they could choose someone, why would it be some random shmuck, and not a highly trained individual, or a proven socially apt guy / girl? (why even choose a guy?) Thus far, it was proven that there is nothing special about the MC, especially socially...

Tale of a Scribe Who Retires to the Countryside - Vol. 2 Ch. 154

It's clear that the author doesn't actually want the MC to be a teacher, how does the school even get any funding lel...

Ore to Kimitachi no Dungeon Sensou - Ch. 4

The general progression in these type of stories, is to have the MC adapt to the new fantasy system he was thrown into, and progressively get "stronger" in interesting ways. Which is...Yeah, what's up with the FMC? For 4 chapters now, there was basically no hint of progression for the guy, other...
