This manga reeks of early 2000s fodder anime. An MC who is "the foretold chosen one", the MC is a cuck but turns into prince charming when needs to, most of the setting is established in the first chapter / episode and then the rest of the story goes absolutely nowhere, harem-elements / "shy...

I don't recall any of that from the webnovel, specifically that the wills could not comprehend each other. At best, they had some banter that reflected each other, but nothing on this level. It also makes absolutely no sense for information-in-charge to not understand the "appeal of elves"...

It's crazy how much this manga feels like a storyboard for an anime.

The only salvation for this story, is for the sister to die by the end of the 1st arc, and never ever return again. If she will remain as the main antagonist, like some generic Team Rocket villain, the story will enter full dumpster fire territory.

Ya'know, this is one of the few instances in which the Jap mindset of: "I want to be a flee on a dog's back", actually makes sense to me. Because, yeah, being a high-ranking noble / politician, sounds like it sucks ass. It's proper to limit your wealth if it also limits your responsibilities.
