This sort of dumb twist / direction reminds me of early Madeka-box. It was a bit weird, but it had its established world and setting...And then it kept breaking those rules, and introducing new ones. It just went absolutely nuts. I really hope Beastars won't end up like that. It ended up fitting...

This chapter is not really making it clear why he was losing strength. It's not like was ever eating meat to begin with, while it is heavily implied that what the Panda said holds truth: he wants more power? He needs meat.

I honestly couldn't get through the chapter, I got too bored. Never did I think a chapter can be too long, but for these sort of popcorn manga, I guess I was proven wrong...

@tuatara1 Considering it was memed to hell for over 2 decades? Yeah, I'd say people are extremely tired of hearing anime characters explaining how precious their friends are... Shit, now I feel like re-re-re-watching the Yugioh Abridged series. Tia's friendship rants are the best.

@Goldenzeal Just wanna say, because I have nothing to add on the big YIKES people have dropped on this whole friendship-cringe -- ye give off the impression of someone who just wants to argue on the internet. To better enjoy that sort of thing, I suggest the forums in the community tab.

For a popcorn manga, this is definitely high-tier. It feels like it'd be able to maintain itself for a while, at least up to chapter 20, which is amazing. Clueless happy-go-lucky MCs seem to be the magic trick for these sort of stories.

I'm not really sure what I was expecting, but I should've figured that a misunderstanding mango with 1 guy constantly berating himself is going to suck arse for me. Welp.

Yeah, this chapter was a mix of funny and just being pitiful. That last bit was so unbelievably unnecessary. That scene is basically family wrecking, his relationship with his parents would never have been the same if this wasn't a comedy manga.

Other than the ass lolicon-gag, this mango is pure sugar. Fun and sweet. No complaints there.

Gotta say, the lolicon-gag isn't funny for shit. Cute kids are cute, you don't need to be a pedophile to say that. The heck's up with Japan about that shit.

Some of the comments in the previous chapters hit it on the mark -- this sort of horrible treatment to people, is a lot better for a villainous protagonist. I'd rather see a grand villain brain-fucking people, extract their brain, and torture them for his own personal schemes -- than do petty...

@SempiQ I just want to comment on that --- unless it's pedophilia, indeed, who cares? It reminds me of all of those stories in which the MC goes: "No, I can't drink alcohol, I'm not 18 / 21 yet!" ...That's almost as dumb as comparing outworldly currency to Yen.

@Hollow7F Sure, it can be, but like a lot of trash isekai -- the story prompt is literally all that there is going for it. Which is why most of these stories fall apart by the 5th~10th chapter. The funny thing about isekai, is that I feel like the only thing that really keeps them above water...
