Seconding the brother in law comment. Japanese language use 義 as a catch-all term for "in-law", "step-", or "adopted". E.g 義兄 can be adopted brother, stepbrother, or brother in law. Context is what will inform you of which translation to use, so translators have to be careful with this.

Ah, I get that the trasnlator might not be able to convert the Korean names to Mandarin, but not gonna lie, it just feels a little disorienting. I keep forgetting this place is supposed to be "China".

Oh, but I've seen other series use "Chapter 4.1", "4.2" etc for chapters that are split into parts. Can't you have the chapter say "Vol X, Chapter 1.1" or something?
