    Oishinbo - Vol. 1 Ch. 8 - Chapter 8

So this is how they met this CEO guy! He's always so excited about everything in the chapters I saw in A La Carte.

    Oishinbo - Vol. 1 Ch. 2 - Chapter 2

Tozai and "East West" is the same name of the news company. It kind of flips flops between both names in the chapters, so I figured I'd mention it. Otherwise, thanks for your effort! I know cleaning and typesetting and translating is no easy task.

    Oishinbo - Vol. 1 Ch. 1

Thank you SO MUCH for posting the actual main series. I had gotten the ala Carte ones, but it's missing a lot of context so I appreciate someone taking this up.

Nobunaga's Chef - Vol. 13 Ch. 111 - The Food That Moved The Artist

I mean, "general" and "shogun" are completely different things to the general public, even though the literal translation is technically correct. But yeah, if the translation screwed up like that, now I really suspect that they're using OCR and machine translation for this. 堺 and 境 can be...

Shin Cooking Master Boy! - Vol. 12 Ch. 102 - Where No Chef Has Ever Ventured

Aahh, heck, I bet that guy's gonna use trickery since the Empress herself will be judging. Maybe it'll be like what Shan did to make Leon's food taste bad, or make it so that the Empress refuse to taste the other chefs' food. I've seen this stuff pulled in other cooking series like Yakitate...

Nobunaga's Chef - Vol. 13 Ch. 111 - The Food That Moved The Artist

Okay, it's bothering me now. Why is "shogun" repeatedly translated as "general"? Did the translator use Google Translate or what? I know some machine translator will pop out "general" when you try to translate "shogun" because it's the literal meaning of the word.

Detective Conan - Ch. 1124 - The Strange Dice

So... Culprit is left handed. Glasses guy has his watch on the left hand, so he seems to be right handed. The frowny guy uses his right hand to hold the menu. While can be done with the opposite hand, usually people naturally use their dominant hand for that. Coatless guy seems more like it...

    Detective Conan - Vol. 105 Ch. 1120 - The Stand-in

I bet Kid would turn out to be right, because he's managed to solve mysteries himself before. He also might have noticed something while sneaking in that the others haven't.

Nobunaga no Chef - Vol. 13 Ch. 110 - The Genius's Folding Screen

Why'd the translator translate "shogun" as "general", LOL? Sure, if you wanna be very literal that is indeed what "shogun" means, but come on now.

Isekai Izakaya "Nobu" - Vol. 14 Ch. 82 - Tempura and One Drawing

Yeah furitto can be translated as "fritter", but writing it as "fritte" is fine too. I did like it when the previous scanlater kept the German(ish) words in.

Kusuriya no Hitorigoto - Vol. 13 Ch. 64 - The Masked Gentleman

Original author's inconsistency, probably. The reading provided in this translation are all based on the reading written in furigana in the manga raw. "Mao Mao" マオマオ and "Gao Shun" ガオシュン is exactly what was written, for example. And, I'm sure someone else already responded, but the setting is a...

Shin Cooking Master Boy! - Vol. 4 Ch. 26 - Enter the "Magician"

I don't get why they'd need to pull this food switching. It's not like that little guy blocked other contestants from entering, and the judge seems to be pretty fair. Mao and gang could've just entered the contest regularly without having to mess with the competitor's food.

Dungeon Meshi - Vol. 14 Ch. 97 - Dungeon Meshi

This is SO GOOD. The character design, the lore, the story, everything aaah!! I love the tiny details? The little dragon that also joined in eating the "body" (is it the dragon's soul?) Falin still ikinda having fangs. And the ending sequence where it's made to look like medieval manuscripts.

Cheating Men Must Die - Vol. 17 Ch. 376 - How an Abandoned Wife Became the Female President : Shang YiXue’s Jealousy

What a mess this is. By the arc title, I'm assuming somehow Luxia will end up taking over the election and becoming the president, but I hope there'll be a happy end for Wen Zheng too. If it weren't for that ghost and reincarnation nonsense he and Luxia were a happy couple.

Nobunaga no Chef - Vol. 13 Ch. 108 - The Taste of Peace

It's a centuries-old Japanese folklore trope for there to be episodes of important people talking in wordplay and puns, and being able to figure out the "hidden meaning" behind them is indicative of a person's intelligence/wisdom/sophistication. The author having Ken do that is probably just...

Nobunaga no Chef - Vol. 13 Ch. 109 - Kashin and Nobunaga

Well, what can you do with a historical manga, LOL. You can only put so much creative liberty into history. The only way you can get something wildly different is if there's a crazy new historical record that was discovered that says "everything you know is actually wrong".

Nokori Ichinichi de Hametsu Flag Zenbu Heshiorimasu: Zamaa RTA Kiroku 24Hr - Vol. 3 Ch. 16 - Epilogue

I mean, this is a "real life" world, there is no "programming". The "original Lucia" says she can only take control of the body again when the reincarnator soul goes to sleep, so maybe she just turns yandere because she has no one else to talk to in all these years. This manga adaptation is very...
