My theory: the world was like “cant stop you, so I’ll make you stop yourself”. Proceeds to create the strongest demon lord that can wipe out humanity. The lich now has to help humans if it wants to fulfill its ambition of uniting humans by staying a threat (they cant do that if they’re dead)

Pacing went out the window

The pacing is all over the place and seems rushed, but I’m enjoying it. Hopefully the author is rushing simply to get to the dungeon/awakening moment faster, and not just being lazy.

Historically this colonization fails. But it’s manga so who knows maybe it’ll go alternate history route. Though I can’t see a nation with no war. Even canute or any other ruler would try to invade thorffin’s lands. Even pirates etc. Vikings. It just cant work out.
