Douka Ore o Houtte Oite Kure: Nazeka Bocchi no Owatta Koukou Seikatsu o Kanojo ga Kaeyou to Shite Kuru

I really really like this series. There's a big dichotomy between the two major characters and their outlooks, but it's done in a way where you can empathize with both of their positions. They're well-written, likeable characters who have reasonable motivations and depth. I was wrong going into...

    Ballpark de Tsukamaete!

Not what I expected at all (in a good way.) Totally worth a read!

    Youki ni Naritai Shigure-san

This series suffers from the same issue I have with danganronpa, where there's an annoying amount of emphasis on a theme centering on one or two words that really aren't as important as the series makes them out to be. A good read if you don't mind seeing the words 'extrovert' and 'introvert'...

    Kumakura-san to Boku

On paper this is a series that I would love, but I just can't say I like it. It's cute, but totally awkward and forced a lot of the time.

    Kisaragi-san wa Gankoukeikei

I like this a lot. None of the developments are forced or feel really out of place. The characters have grounded but distinct personalities.

Yakyuu de Sensou suru Isekai de Choukoukoukyuu Ace ga Jakushou Kokka o Sukuu Youdesu

It's a neat twist of two overdone genres in manga, but it's far too heavy-handed with the fanservice.

Isekai Craft Gurashi ~Jiyuu Kimama na Seisan Shoku no Honobono Slow Life~

Characters have a bit more depth than the usual isekai. Biggest problem with it is the mild to severe sexism that the author just NEEDS to include for whatever reason.

Isekai Nation Archimaira: The Weakest King and his Unparalleled Army - Vol. 1 Ch. 1.3

"What's with this sweet scent that's unique to women?" is possibly the saddest thing I've read in a while

Tanbo de Hirotta Onna Kishi, Inaka de Ore no Yome da to Omowareteiru

I don't remember the name of the other manga, but this one is definitely better than that (at least with the chapters out now)

Kyou mo E ni Kaita Mochi ga Umai

Another promising isekai ruined by the unnecessary addition of "moral slavery." Sad.

Gyaku Isekai Tensei Shite Kimowota ni Natte Shimatta dai Majutsushi Delray Curtis no Fujourina Nichijou

This series feels like someone planted the seed for a genuinely good comedy, then immediately proceeded to take a dump on it. Poor execution in every sense of the term.

Tensei Shite High Elf ni Narimashitaga, Slow Life wa 120-nen de Akimashita - Highelf with a Long Life

Not recommended for those with a fear of the unstoppable marching of time that is slowly guiding us all towards an inevitable death. Otherwise excellent

Are You Okay With a Slightly Older Girlfriend?

The "friend" character has completely ruined this already questionable manga by being the most unlikable, annoying piece of shit ever written.

Koushaku Reijou ni Tensei shiteshimatta node, Mental Otome na Ore wa, Zenryoku de Onnanoko wo Tanoshimimasu

I cannot for the life of me understand the point of this manga.

    Are You a VillAnge Person?

The beginning had an interesting premise and was set up nicely, but it feels like the author decided to skip what should have been the entire middle of the manga? All that happened was two classmates started working the same secret job, and then all of a sudden, without any indication of it...

    Nisekoi: False Love

I hope this series crumbles into dust never to crawl its way out of the septic tank it dug itself into.

    Secret of the Alien

I saw the tag and still didn't see that coming.

Sagishi to Keisatsukan no Rennai Kyori

    It's fun and light.

Tsukushitagari na Uchi no Yome ni Tsuite Derete mo Ii ka

Cute, but not much more than that. Mc is about as smart as a pile of bricks, which is the only reason he hasn't figured out the girl likes him. On that topic—the author decided to go with a super cliché, Nisekoi-like reason for her liking him in the first place. He saved her or something when...
