I've also been facing this issue. I'm from South America, so maybe it's related? I don't thing OS or browser could be related, as the issue first started on my phone and then on my computer (different OS) and I've tried 4 different browsers in total.

Recently, it's been impossible to read anything on my phone. At first it would just take forever to load. Then, yesterday, no old chapters would load (showing the broken image icon), only new ones. Today, that started happening with new chapters too, and I'd just get to read the entire chapter...
