Well at least the arc ended as well as it could for an incest plotline. I do sort of like how it looks like it'll mirror Himari's experience of not immediately falling in love, it makes the sub-plot feel at least a little more connected to the main plot.
I'd love to see the story as much on the cultural aspects of the wolf tribe as much as the romance, I feel like stuff like linguistics is an underrated topic when it comes to fantasy in general.
This would be a really nice subversion, and also a great way to explore Souma's lingering trauma, but honestly, I don't think the author is going to go for it.
Personally I think poly could work, but only if it's well written. If they do end up going down the poly route, I'd love to see them try to come to terms with what it means to be in a poly relationship and what challenges might arise because of it, instead just glossing over it as poly and...
As much as I find the guy annoying and self-centered, I do feel bad for him somewhat.
Also I'm intrgued to see Mashiro potentially dealing with some existential angst; something I think isn't explored enough in reincarnation stories.

Usually not a fan of sports stories and i know absolutely nothing about soccer, but this has been a very fun read nonetheless.
I'm inclined to agree with this interpretation, but usually in these sorts or stories, there's like a final reveal that shows the horrifying reality of the situation, so honestly it feels really weird that it kinda just... ends.
