Imasara desu ga, Osananajimi wo Suki ni Natte Shimaimashita - Ch. 23 - How Foolish

So, not only did we have a completely unnecessary tonal shift and focus on a side character in what seemed to be a sweet and somewhat realistic childhood friend romance, but now that side character is being comically shitty to the guy and "using him" as a "rebound" because of her own...

    Arrogant Slave

Oh man, what an ending lol. I think that it's in line with the author's former work and that this one was done quite well. But I'm personally extremely disappointed, because I foolishly expected a happy ending. But this was my first Hamita manga, so you just gotta experience one first before...

    Arrogant Slave - Ch. 36 - Witch

Nah, that's just the brat's speech mannerism. She ends almost every sentence with "nanoyo" or something (from my memory).

    Haite Kudasai, Takamine-san - Vol. 1 Ch. 1 - Become my closet

It's kinda interesting seeing the reaction that this series got back in 2019. If it had released now, people would be all over it because of the "dommy mommy" crap.

Himegasaki Sakurako wa Kyou mo Fubin Kawaii - Vol. 2 Ch. 16.5 - Afterword

Sakurako is too pitiably cute to be sadistic

At least they will be able to find out if their wells are contaminated without the cult's interference now.

Boku no Ikezu na Konyakusha - Vol. 1 Ch. 4

I'm actually not too annoyed at the new girl. She seems pretty toothless. And she isnt actually sabotaging them, but maybe even pushing them together. The fact that they are both not entirely confident in how they should treat each other is also pretty nice. It feels natural.

Boku no Ikezu na Konyakusha - Vol. 1 Ch. 4

She is a fox, we've seen her drawn like one before, I think. And she also really wanted that fox figure from that gacha machine. Fits the Kyoto theme, too.

Kusunoki-san wa Koukou Debut ni Shippai Shite Iru - Vol. 4 Ch. 25 - But when I'm with Kusunoki, I...

I guess there is such a possibility. The manga has been going pretty strong and it's only been 25 chapters, so I would hope not, though.

Kusunoki-san wa Koukou Debut ni Shippai Shite Iru - Vol. 4 Ch. 25 - But when I'm with Kusunoki, I...

His first love (for Hebikawa) formed during a time when he was very vulnerable and she was the first to show him kindness, which turned out to be fake. It's pretty clear that those feelings quickly turned into a sense of betrayal and that he stopped "loving" her after he found out that she was...

Kusunoki-san wa Koukou Debut ni Shippai Shite Iru - Vol. 4 Ch. 25 - But when I'm with Kusunoki, I...

Honestly, I'm very impressed with the message in this chapter. Kusunoki really hits us with some wisdom there and it's actually pretty realistic dialogue. What a stark contrast her character is compared to the cold indifference and mockery from Hebikawa in the previous chapter.

Kusunoki-san wa Koukou Debut ni Shippai Shite Iru - Vol. 4 Ch. 24 - I was hopelessly in love with you

They are certainly very quick to hate on Shizuki just because he dares to have been hurt by his clearly terrible experiences, and very quick to fall in love with the one who bullied him. It's honestly a pretty common occurrence among manga readers, from my experience. I guess it's pretty natural...

Kusunoki-san wa Koukou Debut ni Shippai Shite Iru - Vol. 4 Ch. 24 - I was hopelessly in love with you

She is clearly manipulating him here, but she very much knows that, to him, she was a much closer person than anyone else. Yes, of course, for a popular sociopath like her, he was less than a bug under her shoe, let alone an acquaintance or a friend. But she KNEW that she was the only source of...

Kusunoki-san wa Koukou Debut ni Shippai Shite Iru - Vol. 4 Ch. 24 - I was hopelessly in love with you

The essays are in response to people having unhinged takes at what's already been very clearly shown, with no real ambiguity. I think it's pretty undeniable that she bullied and betrayed him in middle school by being two-faced. I also think that what we see in this chapter is very clearly cruel...

Kusunoki-san wa Koukou Debut ni Shippai Shite Iru - Vol. 4 Ch. 24 - I was hopelessly in love with you

Are you even reading your own comments? By diminishing what she did to him, saying things like "they werent close," "she just talked some shit behind his back," "she didnt betray him," you are deliberately and unfairly minimizing his trauma and what she did to him. My conclusions simply follow...

Kusunoki-san wa Koukou Debut ni Shippai Shite Iru - Vol. 4 Ch. 24 - I was hopelessly in love with you

What? I read your comment just fine. It pretty much entirely dismisses her actions as "normal" and claims that she "didnt betray him." It reads like the reasoning of a sociopath just like Hebikawa, with the way that it dismisses bullying and the trauma that it can cause. Because it's apparently...

Kusunoki-san wa Koukou Debut ni Shippai Shite Iru - Vol. 4 Ch. 24 - I was hopelessly in love with you

Expecting more drama is one thing. But to completely dismiss any wrongdoing on her part just because there wasnt any further drama is unhinged. Suddenly turning on the MC as if he has no reason to feel hurt or traumatized by how she treated him is also absurd. And she hasnt changed. She is the...

Kusunoki-san wa Koukou Debut ni Shippai Shite Iru - Vol. 4 Ch. 24 - I was hopelessly in love with you

Exactly, and just look at this chapter alone. She knows that something is making him feel physically ill just by looking at her. She knows that she treated him poorly back then and participated in bullying him (even if she may not know that he knows that). Yet, she still pushes him into this...

Kusunoki-san wa Koukou Debut ni Shippai Shite Iru - Vol. 4 Ch. 24 - I was hopelessly in love with you

It's so fucking stupid. This entire chapter we see her sadistically pushing him, knowing that she caused him a trauma that makes him feel ill. Not once does she show any concern over it, she just keeps prodding him and gloats over how terrible she made him feel with little effort from herself...
