Man, I did not imagine I'd enjoy this one this much. It's a perfect combination of artwork (I enjoy the clean lines that are used most of the time), comedy and setting. It's also nice to not have a weak, spineless male protagonist for once, one who does not timidly roll over for every female...

While the drawings are kinda... crude and the artist seems to cheat a bit (For example, putting in photographs of food instead of actually drawing it), I do enjoy the setting. Reading about a restaurant in a world of youkai was more fun that I expected, so don't let the artwork turn you off...

Fun to read, but I wonder what'd have happened if they didnt give the protagonist the ridiculously overpowered wolf as a companion from the get-go. Would it have been more fun to read about him trying to make his way in this world on his own, or would it have turned into a generic fantasy story?
