On the other hand, in order to collect that much beeswax outside of a dungeon you'd probably need to ransack a good sized bee's nest and those take months for normal bees to rebuild. Farming 100 units of beeswax in the dungeon means killing 100 glass bees, but collecting that much beeswax...

If all it requires to shapeshift is an absurd amount of mana (on the level of a dragon) that means that fundamentally MC can learn to shapeshift.
