Man, the Emperor on has the "he's hot" factor going for him - he's not using his tools well, and his psych warfare is sub-par. Disappointment!

I don't, on principle, think there's anything wrong with the Emperor having a curse and using it to keep his nobility in line, I do object to how ham-handedly and wastefully he's apparently using it, especially since he doesn't appear to have in-depth knowledge of its origins, limitations, etc.
