Love this manwha! Bless the translators! @dorchestra no clue. But it's so much of a trope that I don't think anyone didn't guess that this was going to be the outcome. They basically slapped you in the face with it during the chapter on the train.

@Panino she's the first person to do it in history, so yes, it's technically her invention in that timeline as she had it designed, built and popularized.
