1. Poison Dragon probably isn't even that bad. 2. It's probably a fight or "palace arrest" to escort out the nation type plan. 3. Politics stink, but as a queen, she likely had little choice (is it a food issue?). 5. Net will hopefully befriend the posion dragon.

The story has a nice, light flow to it. Though, it could've been nice as just a handyman traveller's post adventuring story, I'm a bit curious how long they can drag out thus meaningless, misconstrued conflict and what could possibly follow it...
