The double spy premise is interesting. But the "happily ever after" ending kinda lackluster for me. For weird One-shots like this, usually I want more bang for the ending Emonyu is not that weird compared to the angels from Katsute Mahou Shoujo

So Hametsu no Oukoku will end its "First Part" of the story in volume 13. Wow. That is ambitious. How many parts will there be? I think that is the longest "first part" I've read so far. Even stuff like One Piece and Chainsaw Man ended theirs in volume 11.
