This has "Council is really the bad guys and they're just using you" written all over it. Either there are bunch of benevolent talent users vs malicious talent users, or there's oemthing in regards to Nana's past. Something is ever so fishy.
@jak I think the author knew, and it seems they aren't making it so apperant with their opinions of how that war affected a great number of people, most likely due to avoid being harassed or censured by the very interesting and vocal readers in Japan.
There's definately the serious miscommunicaiton issue going on between parent and child, but I can see why Akira wouldn't just outright say that their fine with who they are now.
Optimism now, but give it a few run arounds soem of the romcom hallmarks, and then come a slew of people who will drop it... That being said, I am for one am excited for something like this.
@Raydnt The issue with public polls like that it can very heavily affected byr andom trolls or people who have the time, energy, or resournces to simply make several dummy accounts to heavily favor oneside or wish to see one side tank. Its a noble sentiment to think the public isn't like that...

@sssr I mean the previous chapter just showed that Shuu's work is also a cafe/diner/eatery place where drinks and stuff are being served, not someone's personal household. Just by that it looked like they were selling not in sets but probably in at least a small version of whatever bulk...
@sssr I'd also imagine that craftsmen, much like professional potters, have select clientelle like restaurant owners, bar owners, or even dining ware/cutlery shops who order bulk products just as well as individual products
