    "chosing prefered cover" option :maybe:

@BzzBzz If it's just a client side setting and not something that's persisted on the database (i.e. you'd have to set it separately for each device) then... maybe, yeah.

    Search functionality wishlist

While true, I would be reluctant to add it out of fears of it emboldening people to snipe the last chapters for trolling purposes when the scanlation is way behind. It already happens, making it a site feature to find manga with a scanlated final chapter sounds to me like an invitation to make...

@EOTFOFYL We had the big brain idea of calling it the SEX rating: Safe, Erotica and Explicit. There might have been a fourth tier as well, can't remember right now. Either way, whatever the terms and however many tiers we'll use will be defined eventually. We don't want to use vague terms like...

Amaetai Hi wa Soba ni Ite. - Vol. 1 Ch. 8 - A Mole Under Your Eye (Did you cry?)

@miEden Would you guys mind turning the font sizes up a bit? Some of this text gets honestly kind of difficult to read even at 100% size, never mind when the images are fit to screen and zoomed out. The thin, blocky and slanted font choice isn't necessarily helping the readability either, but...

Senpai ga Uzai Kouhai no Hanashi - Vol. 7 Ch. 133

@chris49ford It's not a "unique word" where properly translating it would lose any kind of authoritarial intent, it's a super common greeting. It's normal everyday Japanese and there are ways to translate it to English. This is unironically as silly as arguing that the English phrase "hello...

Senpai ga Uzai Kouhai no Hanashi - Vol. 7 Ch. 133

@Dudley Because it's completely pointless information on top of being weeby as hell and not even fully correct. Otsukaresama in this context is trivially easy to translate, it's not some magical untranslateable Japanese incantation that you have to get the full context of in order to fully...

Manga description rule, guild to avoid spoiler ? (on the future tittle at least, if change everything now is too late )

@Tcof The problem with the example you gave is that it's just a single chapter so far, so of course arguments about "the manga as a whole" aren't as effective (yet). I don't know. I'll excuse myself from this discussion because I notoriously don't really care about spoilers in the first place...

    Prevent nested spoilers :rejected:

I hate these kind of spoilers anyway, we should have just gone with the black-on-black thing you have to hover over Anyway, not going to do anything about this with this forum software anyway, we'll see how xenforo handles it If it's annoying, just call the person who's doing it out as being...

Manga description rule, guild to avoid spoiler ? (on the future tittle at least, if change everything now is too late )

@Tcof You're complaining that the description "spoils" the premise of the manga? Is that not what the description is for? It would be really weird if the description was intentionally incorrect just to maintain a little twist at the end of chapter 1, if it means misleading the reader about the...

Dev news: Launching API version 2 (also v1 deprecation notice) | Last updated 2021-01-17

@Isotab That seems to have been an issue that happened when the "SSL only" option was added, because evidently the old API was updated to handle it but not the v2 one. I blame rdn lol. Will fix soon, thanks for reporting.

Being able to see # of chapters uploaded in search would be nice and/or visibility on if a series is a manga/manhua/manhwa/original language on the fr

As mentioned, this has been rejected, many, many, many, many, many times before because the complexity required is simply not something we can realistically support with our current system of retrieving and caching data. Showing just the raw amount of chapters uploaded is naive anyway because...

Move Hentai icon in title to left margin? :rejected:

@Lexical Ah, yeah, if it's the updates page then I'm not surprised. That part of the code is ancient and bad, it uses <table> elements for god's sake. The whole thing is meant to be replaced eventually.

MangaPlus didn't censor it, it was like that in the Japanese raws. The only reason we fixed it for the XuN release was that the author always posts the first four pages on twitter in high quality.

Move Hentai icon in title to left margin? :rejected:

@Lexical This shouldn't be an issue anymore, I thought we fixed this in all cases where it was still left. It depends on the view, though, so if you find a specific case where the icons get truncated along with the title, let me know. As for the "no chapters" tag, we had that early on but...

Question on Planned Feature for Follows Thumbnails

We have two kinds of chapter list views: 1) the one where all the chapters belong to a single manga (visible in a manga page, obviously) and 2) the one where the chapters may belong to multiple manga (visible in follows, group pages and user pages, and more to come in the future). In the sticky...

Senpai ga Uzai Kouhai no Hanashi - Vol. 7 Ch. 133

oh my lord just write "see you later" instead of going on a completely irrelevant tirade about the excessively literal reading of otsukaresama "Hello!" TL Note: According to the Oxford English Dictionary, hello is an alteration of hallo, hollo,[1] which came from Old High German "halâ, holâ...
