Double and colored pages taking longer is no wonder since they're obviously larger than usual images. AbyssalMonkey is right about caching, too. You might have luck changing to a different image server, though.

@kuma I haven't completely given up on it, but in the sense that I've had (and for the foreseeable future will have) way too much other stuff to develop, draw and scanlate, this is unfortunately kind of de facto dropped until I miraculously have more time for it.
