Minimum word count for First Post to a Forum thread. :rejected:

Seems a bit pointless, especially as a measure against spamming. All you'd need to do is add more nonsense.

    notice of reloading chapters

@kvodan You mean when they get simply edited, not completely re-uploaded as a new separate chapter, and it doesn't bump the chapter in your Follows with a new timestamp or remove the read marker? If so, I don't think we'll be doing either, since I think it would be a bit difficult to make that...

Need new user restriction to prevent spam posts

Posting delays for new users and between posting replies was already added a few days ago. I just forgot to do the same for posting new threads, but that was added yesterday too.

    notice of reloading chapters

I have no idea what "reloading chapters" means, much less sending off notifications for it. Custom follow categories are considered.
  5. Teasday

Pinned comment for chapters by group/uploader :maybe:

Adding limits seems like a bit of a pointless idea. If the feature would be misused, it would be subject to moderation anyway.

Start tab name with chapter number :rejected:

Initially, the chapter number came first, but people who were using bookmarks complained that it messed up their sorting. I was inclined enough to agree with the reasoning and changed it. I'd rather keep it this way.

About the recent rehosting drama :rejected:

Not to mention it makes absolutely no sense to go "you can freely control your chapters, but only if you're willingly posting them to our site anyway"

Coloring only 1st Chapter of a Manga

Doesn't really matter. We have plenty of oneshots. The manga IDs aren't about to run out anytime soon. Make it separate.

Links to Aggregator Sites for Removed Series :rejected:

No. If you want external aggregator links, just use Google.

About the recent rehosting drama :rejected:

Absolutely fucking not. A huge reason we don't just do whatever the hell we like, scanlators be damned, is to foster the growth of the hobby in general. You don't do that by becoming scummy aggregator #2346234723. Nobody in their right mind starts scanlating because they want to upload to...

    Chapter not Displaying

The various caches aren't always consistently cleared, so that's most likely the issue.

Sort last updated manga by only selected languages :will fix:

Arrows leading to the next or previous chapter work opposite of what would be expected. :not a bug:

@Albwin You've (probably accidentally) switched your reading direction setting. You can change it from the reader's Setting menu, by pressing h or by simply clicking on that Left to right/Right to left text.

    Language/Country Flags bug

Is this a new problem for you? Because it's been I think a couple of months at least since we moved on to sprite flags.

    Organization: Manga Folders :planned:

@Arashi You mean the category list should have some kind of a language setting that overrides your global language filters? I suppose that could have some utility. I'm not making promises, but suggestion duly noted.

    cannot post comments

    https://mangadex.org/thread/92909 If it's bugged, I wouldn't know how. It's pretty straightforward.
  19. Teasday

"You have to wait until you can make your post."

Yes, we did. There's still a problem I forgot to fix previously, i.e. the submit button getting stuck as disabled, but forcing this delay is much better than porn bots spamming dozens of posts a minute. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Is it possible to hide the line between pages when using double page mode?

I think we may have already talked about this on the discord, but I'll mention it here too. This is a bug that seems to appear on Chrome specifically, and it's related to a CSS rule that's (I think, god knows it's been a while since I wrote it) supposed to keep the image in a correct aspect...
