    Yes, the process continues even if you close the tab, so it's completely safe to either reload the page or just close it. On the other hand, if you want to mass upload (or just upload chapters a bit faster), I'd recommend you use third party tools like Xunder's mupl or Xnot's...

    It's not a programmed delay, but actually the chapter indexer that needs to process the upload and add it to the database as well as the images on at least one of the image servers before it's listed publicly.

    There's no speed limitation other than your own ISP's speed limitations... For example, I can usually upload 40+ page chapters in ~30s
