This is the first time, I think, that I've seen Norihiro Yagi show in his work that he's a Star Wars fan, given that last page spread is a .9 to 1 approximation of the Sandcrawler from Episode IV. I don't think he ever did similar things in Angel Densetsu or Claymore.
