You know what really sucks? Volume 5 didn't get a physical release due to various complications. Now I will never know what it feels like to have the complete collection of Hakka Shoujo on my bookshelf.

There are also people who are single at heart, and feel best when not in a relationship despite not being ace. Also, asexual and aromatic are not mutually exclusive. You can be one, or both. So sensei could be getting some action on the side for all we know. 😉

@Darklight99 The manga is split into parts. With the first few chapters being the exposition. Then 9?-18 being Ayase route, 19?-28 being Mori route. Then the generic end where nobody wins until 30 something ish. Now it's on to the Ayase end.

@Darklight99 The generic end is finished now. Ayase end is on chapter 3 at the moment. My redrawer dropped out 😥...but I'll finish up chapter 17 after Tsumi to Kai chapter 20 is done.

@dane17eduard I guess in general, when compared to shoujo, jousei and seinen seem to deal with social and cultural issues in a more mature and serious manner, or in ways that try to get the reader to question their existing perception and prejudices on said issue.
