The chapter's exactly as long as every chapter prior. And this is basically how the series does it, they do a "cold close", things just sort of end when they feel like the gag's run out.

Fire Force - Vol. 26 Ch. 229 - Bearing the Sun

@liquid_2 Hikeshi were Edo era firefighters. Sort of their own thing. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fires_in_Edo#Firefighting_organizations

Kanojo, Okarishimasu - Vol. 18 Ch. 150 - The Girlfriend and Lies (Part 3)

We've got a lot of Pos in this thread https://youtu.be/bZ4oI5tRZ9M?t=51

    Kanojo, Hitomishirimasu - Vol. 1 Ch. 4

@justforthelulz Actually it's "pouch" this time.

Kanojo, Okarishimasu - Vol. 17 Ch. 147 - The Girlfriend and Lies (Part 1)

@WhisCalifa69 People tend to think that they're enlightened readers because they recognize Kazuya is a schmuck, when that's the whole point. The fish roasts him on the regular. And not to mention hos Chizuru lights him up. Kazuya isn't a spineless dork because the author fucked up. He's...

Kanojo, Okarishimasu - Vol. 17 Ch. 147 - The Girlfriend and Lies (Part 1)

@MrMcNasty Kazuya already tried to come clean. Chizuru asked him not to. What the fuck are you talking about?

Kanojo, Okarishimasu - Vol. 17 Ch. 147 - The Girlfriend and Lies (Part 1)

@MrMcNasty literally two chapters ago he proclaimed that he'd support her no matter what happens, even if she wasn't his girlfriend. How is that "for his own gratification"?

Kanojo, Okarishimasu - Vol. 17 Ch. 147 - The Girlfriend and Lies (Part 1)

@BrunoVilla "Subverting expectations" just because does not make for a good story. Romeo and Juliet tells you they're going to die in the prologue. Something inevitable can cause an enormous amount of tension.

    Kanojo, Hitomishirimasu - Vol. 1 Ch. 1

@chrispower110 Based on the introduction, I would not be expecting anything beyond light, slice of life fluff, with maybe some light romance. This isn't kanokari, it's more of a "the daily life of Sumi" type of thing

@icantnotthink Really happy to hear that, man! I admit we kinda come out anxious because there's so much politics and drama over scanlation, but we really love this series and it's a blast to work on.

@botman The literal Japanese translates to the even more dull sounding "Table Coordinator". "Table coordination" is the art of setting a table to look spectacular, choosing a center piece, dishes, food, etc. Unfortunately, English doesn't have anything that really matches. "Table coordinator"...

Hey folks! We might be a familiar face, Black Cat Scans worked on House Husband for a little while back in the late 30s. (38, the rap chapter, is still a personal point of pride for me.) After seeing the series languish for months without updates from the other group who scanlates it, we decided...

Fechippuru - Bokura no Innocent Love - Vol. 5 Ch. 61 - “I Want to Hug You”

Hey folks, JakalDX here, I do some final proofreading/translation checking/review on Fechippuru. The delay on the most recent chapters is really my fault, I'd volunteered to do some final quality control to help develop some of our other staff members, and I ended up being a bottleneck. I know...

Mimibukuro-san no Chiebukuro - Vol. 1 Ch. 1 - Where Nipples Show Oxytocin

So having reviewed what I can find of the raw... This translation is way, way off, all over the place. Basically from the title (Which is more like "nipples secrete oxytocin when teased"), most of the lines are either outright fabrications, or so simplified they lose most of the meaning. オス and...

    Fechippuru - Bokura no Innocent Love - Vol. 4 Ch. 52 - Non-Black

@Cakexx gyaku NTR. "gyaku" means "reverse" or "contrary" and yeah, that's basically what that situation's called

This Chubby Girl Can't Stop Acting Impishly - Ch. 1

Small translational note, よく does indeed mean "well", but it's sometimes used to praise someone, basically congratulating them. In this case, よく言えた is more "Good job for being able to say it" rather than "You were able to say it well." Keep up the good work!

Fechippuru - Bokura no Innocent Love - Vol. 3 Ch. 32 - Chocolate Panic

@Malorem TL checker here, you should probably get some facts straight: It's not 玉子焼き. It's 目玉焼き. Go ahead and pop that into google and tell me what comes up. Again, incorrect. Coughing wouldn't even make sense. And the same onomatopoeia can represent entirely different things (e.g. からから) What...
