I generally like the rivalrly that turns to romance plot but this is dragging on a bit much imo.
At this point the friends should lock them in a room for a weekend.
Honestly probably a decent role for her - she seems to be able to ignore the bullshit that the king is tired of.
Also feel like she was hit with the old "may you live in interesting times" curse, as much as she tries to keep out of it.
Thanks for the chapter.
I wonder if Dowon is actually a good actor, considering the talk about how he got the role due to a sponsor. Maybe we'll see some steamy scenes with Cheon Lisa coaching him up.
@onionskins just for plot I think, since MC is always the future queen (and of course MC is hardworking, especially if isekai).
An actual reason could be that the person marrying into the family has to work harder, if it was a future king marrying the princess a lot would be expected of him.
Interesting reading the spoilers - I feel like (if written well) this could become a fairly expansive fantasy work, with romance as one of the drivers.
Or just go down the standard shoujo tropes and become another boring story, which is more likely.
Thanks for the chapter.
Nice to see a boy who actually has things like "consideration, common sense, and delicacy" (to pull from another shoujo story).
Feels like a childish tactic, though a lot of the noble bullshit seems childish to me, so maybe its fitting.
Still nice to see MC actually fight rather than going along with things because the guy is handsome.
I just think its funny/sad that @shanoc5902 referenced a manga where the MC was forced into being with the prince and there were multiple guesses as to which specific manga was being referenced. Gotta love the overbearing shoujo love interest.
Thanks for the chapter.
Not sure if I like how forward he is - its a cute character trait but also seems like it could get kinda annoying if you don't like it. At least he is nice/polite about it, rather than the cliche overbearing cold ML.
One thing I like about this story is how it has fairly strict hierarchical rules that the MC has to navigate. A lot of these hand-wave away that side of nobility politics.
@Umbrecola agreed 100%, its rare to see destructive behaviors like that in these stories since characters have to be perfect.
Remember, real men bottle up their feelings inside and never show a hint of emotion.
