The title seems to be.. a tad hyperbolic, expected the woman to at least become some plant demon, or a witch or something. but from the looks of it she just became sassy and moved on, hardly monstrous really.

Guessing that this was to protect the hamster, though this long drawnout spiel is rather painful, since the author may as well have slapped the villainess title on the cunt that keeps bringing up the rumors and pictures and whatnot.

Wait, this entire nonsensical story arc happened because the 'super genius magician' was infertile? (and rather than use his cloning facility to create offspring, he created a titan with the edgiest backstory)

Starting to think that it was Roxanne that offed her brother (since all the other siblings had to off one of their own, only hers was killed by "Dion" and he's bringing it up a lot as if he's trying to imprint that on her.)

@Gotham2298 Would be weirder if she did have those moments, this story didn't have the usual fainting villainous remembers her past life shenanigans, she was raised in this family (and since failure means a painful death she's taken the lessons seriously)

@arthdaw IMO she effectively cut ties with her mother, to protect them both. In some stories they force kids to kill their beloved pet or foster siblings to harden their heart/resolve. Now that she's drawn a line between her mother and herself its less likely that she will be forced to off her...

@Elyursi Don't think so, if I had to guess they're going to increase the amount of angst first, since they brought up that 'Kaia' never grieves and now we've seen the first floodgate open. (or atleast get in motion) Probably have this 'clinician' turn out to be the prince of the North.
