I'm not sure she likes him... yet. I think it may go 2 ways, she keeps acting until it becomes real or she didn't realize it was love until it's too late. Generally the plain joke or pride stuff doesn't last long, but I might be wrong.

I think it's more comedy that romance, but it's going with the trope of not knowing what love is so it's slower than average, at least for now. I mean, people pay for sex to girls that had thousands of partners, not that hard to imagine that the guys just want to bang.
