Probably because this arc is pretty much standard fare Yaoi. The previous characters's arcs felt more realistic, this reads like the author just wanted to write some BL now.

Loving this sub arc and how many hoops they're having to go through just to communicate. And seeing the story from the PoV of the demons is surprisingly effective at making us sympathize with them a little, with them being heavy underdogs now.

I thought it was discount Maoyuu Maou Yuusha but it's really now. I've enjoyed reading it but the story really doesn't flow well at times. I'd say it's almost good. Almost.

Well that at least explains the how she ended up at the orphanage as well as how Roussillon apparently had the power of teleportation. I think it's a bit of lazy writing but at least they addressed it.

To be fair he did want her to elope with her lover instead. Doesn't excuse the evil scheme but he's not really a bloodthirsty murderer like that makes it sound. He's a machiavellian CEO who's willing to do anything for his goals and they happened to be on his way.

Maybe it's the TL, but this first chapter feels like a disjointed mess. Like they tried to cram 30 chapters of backstory into a single one.

After this chapter i'm now expecting a timeskip if that girl in the cover is actually Ayano. I wasn't sure she was but i really don't like when covers spoil what's going to happen and it doesn't look like it'll be pretty.

I liked it until the dungeons in japan part. The idea of him being targeted from another world and having to defend himself from it/deal with the consequences was more interesting than another one of these "oh there's dungeons in japan but modern weapons don't work hurr durr" kind of story...

This is a super wholesome and enjoyable romance manga. I liked all of the characters, there's no useless filler and it wrapped up properly. Some people might not like the final pairings but they felt pretty much set to stone from the beginning and the ending doesn't betray the relationships or...

He disconnected the laptop from the network before opening the email. I like when they show how smart he is instead of just telling.
