I don't understand the appeal of this it reminds me of "realistic" horror manga that only become more unbelievable the longer it goes on

This foreshadowing seems obvious the spoiled "Saviour" is gonna cause a great havoc, and the proper Saviour have to rescue everyone and come into the limelight (though I wouldn't be surprise if some trickery got pulled to delay the inevitable)
