I love it when Makotos psycho side comes out. It takes a while to be apparent in the manga, but it's pretty obvious from the prologue he's kinda f'ed up. How this part of his personaloty resolves or plays into the story is one of the most interesting threads for me.

Actually it's just weird adaptation. Despite looking horny AF, the manga cuts out all the times they get it on, which I find very strange. I read all 7 light novel volumes and they do the deed pretty regularly.

That's what actually happened in the LN. I have no idea why they skipped it, it's not like there are actual sex scenes, it's all fade-to-black, so they wouldn't have had to draw it. I hate when adaptations do this kind of hack-job editing.

Hope no screaming red pendants are invloved in the process. That's what the imagery reminds ME of.

It was a long and hard road, but we finally got here. Brings a tear to my eye :,). Yamada is way too frogiving, but at least Kase seems to understand what a pain in the ass she's been.

Then I think it's working as intended. Making a one-off strong character to hype up an upcomming baddie is a well-worn trope, but to make that character likeable enough to make the hype effective is where the authors skill comes in.
