Didn't know the editor had passed away, that's sad, only knew the writer is on a break due to health issues. I think the artist is still fine and while the series is on hiatus, Kinnikuman will adapt the Deep Of Muscle novels...or one of them at least, following Sneagator and Stecasse King.

I love these flashbacks chapters, they add so much to the setting and characters to a point where i wish they were there before, i will give Kinnikuman this, the 2011 revival is just excellent and honestly goes a long way to fix some gaps and flaws of the past while giving us new stuff, this...
