@skeletor51 as @george_priftakis has said, Tomozaki will eventually realize that, and all your doubts about the series will be cleared off in volume 3. As of now the manga (raws) has only started the beginning of volume 3, so it's going take a long time for you to catch up if you're just waiting...

@Ribhav2466 Not sure if the translator is still working on this, but you can just jump into the Light Novel (translated by YenPress) starting from volume 2. Even the raws in Japan are still at the beginning of LN volume 3, it's gonna take years to catch up with the LN since it's only updated...
