Thanks for the update! I love this series.

I swear the series used to zoom out and present top-down views of the battle more to help contextualize things. Wild decision to do that less when the big picture is more and more relevant to the protagonist.

I don't know, the sequel has gotten less room to breathe and a lot of the characterization of new faces hasn't been particularly interesting. Some of the author's worse tendencies are also more evident. It seems fair to say it's worse on those axes.

I really wish the author would stop using rape to add peril.

The last panel in this chapter is one of the funniest of all time.

Truly a 5/10 series in every way possible. Mediocrity distilled over and over until it reached its purest form.

Wild to see it wrap up after this long. I didn't enjoy the series as much after it became unmoored from the game, but it's good to have closure.

This series continues to be one of the best in terms of characterizing the horrors of war and the people who fight it. I wish I could find the novel translations past its ending somewhere.

This is a stinker of a series, even in a genre full of them. Half-assed characterization, inane plot, "all according to keikaku" protagonist. Woof.

Riboku has been such a boring antagonist other than the few chapters of political unrest in his own state. I don’t think I’ll even be satisfied by his eventual death (if we even get that), because every other character will be all “wow, he was such a cool and respectable enemy.” Author cannot...

We truly live in the worst timeline.

I really wish I could be 10% the hater that our heroine is.
