@Sarsak Considering their shorter lifespans, it's likely half-foot gestation periods is shorter too. The lifespan is roughly half as long as a tall-man/human, so the gestation period is probably only 4 to 4.5 months.

@SHTJ Because she's not actually calling them girlfriends. Read the translation notes. The girl is calling her something like sexy woman, but the translator insists on saying girlfriend instead even though it's the entirely wrong connotation.
