It might be the unlenited yamugaki, because when people make words like that they're basically adapting a template yamu+tsundere (the original dere)=yandere but all the gaki-based words are quadrisyllabic, so based off of kusogaki, erogaki, mesugaki, yamugaki would make as much sense as yangaki

I suspect it's a retcon. I think what the author is thinking is that Wakarase moved in after meeting Sensei to more easily stalk him, since she's really rich.
