What makes Kanna’s design gothic? In the anime and presumably here too she dresses in bright pink/white clothing, that doesn’t really seem like goth style to me.

I'm not really familiar with this artist's works but this manga shows a lot of promise so far, I especially like how it manages to be serious and somewhat fun at the same time.
